I'm In For It

Several months ago (February), I stepped out of my car and turned and felt something "go" in my left knee.  After months of physical therapy that wasn't doing anything, I finally got an X-Ray (why after so long) which led to a cortisone shot which led to an MRI and now?  Will eventually lead to a knee replacement!

I never thought I would sell my Harley.  But, as talked about in my latest rant, the drivers are crazier than ever.  Fremont was actually listed as the 6th worst place to drive in the State!

Mason is a Car Cat

Mason seems to like to go in the car.  He doesn't act like most cats (like he's on fire).  We try to take him out every few days and he just kicks back and relaxes.  We put him in a little pet stroller and he liked Michael's and Joann's.

Meet Mason

Mason joined the family in early May.  He is outgoing, fun, cute but the other cats don't think so (yet).

Augustus is Awake

Yesterday, I put Augustus back out into his "winter hut" and opened the door.  He remained asleep.  Today, I opened his door and he had his eyes open, and a little while later, he was in front of his hut.  We offered him dandelions which he accepted.

I posted this photo back on December 5t - the very last photo I posted here.  I am sad to say that Oreo passed away (of this writing) 2 days ago.  February 17th.  I came home from work for lunch and found him on the floor in the family room...gone.

Oreo is 14 now.  It's hard to believe!  He is still in full control of his faculties, hearing, etc.  He runs around the house at about 30mph and howls at the ceiling.  He LOVES it when I play my hammered dulcimer.

Working retail, Christmas stuff started arriving in SEPTEMBER.  Yes, really.  I always say that once the kids are back in school, it's a downhill slide to Christmas - but why rush it?
